a) Lorsque le volume d'eau, la pression et la fiabilité d'un réseau municipal conviennent, l'alimentation en eau du réseau d'extincteurs automatiques à eau doit se faire par une ou plusieurs conduites raccordées au réseau municipal. b) Lorsqu'un réseau municipal dessert un bâtiment de grande hauteur conformément au CNB, l'alimentation en eau du réseau d'extincteurs automatiques à eau doit être effectuée par au moins deux conduites raccordées au réseau municipal. c) Lorsqu'il n'y a pas de réseau municipal ou qu'il ne suffirait pas aux besoins, il faut prévoir des pompes et des citernes d'incendie, des réservoirs surélevés, des réservoirs sous pression ou des combinaisons de ces moyens comme l'exige le Cl.
